qNMR Summit 2025 | Halifax, Canada

Nova Scotia, Canada

The 9th International Conference on quantitative NMR | In-person only

In 2025, the qNMR World will convene again on June 4-6, 2025 in Halifax, Canada, for the qNMR Summit 2025. The venue will be the Halifax Convention Centre in downtown Halifax. The qNMR Summit will synergize with BERM-16, an international symposium on biological and environmental reference materials. Both events are hosted by the National Research Council of Canada.

Registration for the qNMR Summit 2025 is now open - please follow this link.

Abstract submission deadline: March 31, 2025 (extended from March 14) - see instructions and template below.

The qNMR Summit 2025 covered the following key topics:

  • High-accuracy qNMR quantitation in establishing Certified Reference Materials (CRMs)
  • Economics of industrial qNMR: (hidden) advantages and (nonobvious) gains for method development, acceptance, in-process testing, manufacture, and quality control
  • Digital qNMR: the path to standardless quantitation; a yellow brick road paved with good intentions?
  • (q)NMR of pharmaceutical salts: simultaneous identity and accurate stoichiometry confirmation in API manufacture, finished product formulation, and stability testing; notable cases, best practices, advantages, and pitfalls
  • (q)NMR in oligo-/polysaccharide analysis: authentication, characterization, quantitation, and quality control
  • Site-specific isotope ratio by (q)NMR in authentication and adulteration analysis of foods and natural products
  • Pharmaceutically relevant heteronuclear qNMR: practically achievable analyses with high-field and benchtop instrumentation
Regulatory qNMR in: experience with regulatory submissions and assessments; views from both sides of the table. What works?
  • qNMR as a driver for environmentally austere analysis
