The Pharmacognosy Institute successfully hosted the 16th annual Garden Walk on Fri, Aug. 5, featuring a lecture by Thorsten Lumbsch from the Field Museum: "Lichens – evolutionary insights into colorful chemical factories.”
It was a fun event that brought together researchers and community members, and sparked many lively discussions about the evolution of lichens and lichens as potential sources of natural products for medicines.
